In the STEAM Lab at da Vinci, students work collaboratively to explore grade level topics using Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math.

STEAM learning gives students the ability to think critically about how they would solve a particular problem. STEAM is all about sparking learning with hands-on activities and allowing the freedom of creativity. As an Arts Integration school, at TdVA we include Arts in STEAM because Arts and creativity are crucial to the sciences, technology, engineering, and computer science.

When students visit our STEAM lab they have access to a wide variety of 21st century learning tools. Students use green screens as backgrounds for video projects and announcements. We have a variety of robots that students in any grade level can use, and students can build representations on the Lego and magnet walls or use iPads for coding, recording videos, and research.
