before starting school.  On average, we found that parents were spending between $150-$200 per student to buy all the items.  As a school district, we found that by shifting to a one-time fee, we can purchase items in bulk for a discount, and it is easier on parents. \u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Therefore, as a district, all elementary schools have two fees at the beginning of the year: the classroom \u003Cstrong>Supply Fee \u003C\u002Fstrong>and the \u003Cstrong>Consumable Fee\u003C\u002Fstrong>.  Starting in August, parents can log in to \u003Ca support the one-to-one student device program.  The fee for Kindergarten through second-grade students at TdVA is $25.00, and each student is issued an iPad.  The fee for students in third through fifth grade is $50.00, and are issued a laptop to use throughout the school year.  This fee is used to purchase cases, repair accidental breakage, purchase apps or web programs, and purchase new
